Join your hosts downstairs to relax in a beautiful living room overlooking the pool, veranda and private gardens. There is also a gift shop area that is full of handcrafted jewelry, art, toys, and gifts. Or just relax and watch the many birds on the large patio, watch TV, or listen to soft jazz, or play a game of Billiards in the sunroom.

A full course cooked breakfast is served 8 to 10 AM Weekdays and Weekends 8:30 to 10:30 in the dining room.

What You Should Know...

  • The living room overlooks the pool and gardens, equipped with a sleeper sofa. Making it ideal for a family of up to eight.
  • The guest area includes a private kitchen with Microwave, TV, Refrigerator and Dishwasher.
  • The business center is located in the guest living room with a computer and printer.
  • Business rates discounts and long term stays.
  • There is no discount on Holidays or Holiday weekends.
  • Rates change for special events.

    Our Policies

  • Check in time is 4:30 to 7:30 pm by appointment! We ask that you check-out by 11 a.m. so we may properly prepare the room for incoming guests.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house. Please feel free to smoke on the porch or the many seating areas in the gardens.
  • We accept Cash, Travelers Checks, American Express, Visa, Master Card and Discover.
  • Reservations must be confirmed with a credit card or payment of one night lodging. Balance due in full on check in.
  • All cancellations are subject to an administration fee of $50.
  • Cancellations must be one week prior to check in date or you will be charged for the total reservation.
  • The facilities are for guests use only, no exceptions!
  • For the very few that must preview Matthews Manor before booking and the web site does not get it for them, we must charge a fee of $10 per person to accommodate their needs.
